In the 1930s, the Prometheus Foundation, inspired by Greek mythology, sought to be humanity's savior through medical progress. They experimented cruelly on themselves, driven by Major Richard Evans, motivated by his daughter's tragic death and obsession to cure all diseases. To conduct these experiments, they used an airship, the Deucalion, and recruited engineer Adam Buford, who had a history with the Hindenburg disaster. Their experiments caused illness and death among the crew, leaving only Richard and Adam aboard. As Richard's paranoia grew, he hallucinated a cure involving crashing into the Empire State Building. Adam, aware of the impending disaster, devised a plan to save humanity, luring Richard and ultimately murdering him, saving thousands of civilians.

The level story takes place on the Deucalion and follows the untimely end of the foundation.
