monochromia
monochromia
In this project, I got my first opportunity to co-write a story and storyboard in a short-animated-film, and not in games, with was my usual area of expertise.
I gained a lot of insights and experience while working on this film and enjoyed it very much.
What is it about?
The desire to be seen for who you are is a deep human need. Even if you are a little robot.
In a world in which everything is only black or white - in a binary world, that is - a robot discovers one day (by chance) that color is hidden beneath its monochrome surface. He realizes that he is an individual - and makes a decision.
Although this film was originally a story about individuality and tries to convey the consideration that there can be more than one option, the argument about what kind of world we want to live in is currently, unfortunately, again a rather political question.
“In a world where everything is black and white, a little robot discovers its uniqueness.”
